DidUKnow - Amazon client for Series 60 phones

Often I find myself in conversation or at a lecture when the speaker says, "Did you know there is a new book out on a hot topic?" I want to check it out. Unforutnately, I have found most default browsers on phones in the field either crash or are too slow to look things up on Amazon.

DidUKnow is a Symbian/Series60 application which uses Amazon Web Services to obtain answers to book queries. You can download it here.

The initial screen is simple.

To search, select options=>search=>new. A dialog will appear. Enter your search string and press the "OK" softkey. The search results will be displayed via tabs. Use the joystick to move between books. To see the next 10 hits, select options=>search=>more.

When I searched for Penguin, the first hit I got was:

You can get a detail on this book by selection options=>view=>more detail.

To return to the initial screen, select options=>view=>General info.

I find it helpful. Hope you do too.
